Possibility of a Major Methane Release Triggered by Melting Arctic Ice Constitutes a "Planetary Emergency".
by sizemik inclimate 'tech fixes' urged for arctic methane.
by richard black - environment correspondent, bbc news.
an eminent uk engineer is suggesting building cloud-whitening towers in the faroe islands as a "technical fix" for warming across the arctic.. scientists told uk mps this week that the possibility of a major methane release triggered by melting arctic ice constitutes a "planetary emergency".. the arctic could be sea-ice free each september within a few years.. wave energy pioneer stephen salter has shown that pumping seawater sprays into the atmosphere could cool the planet.. the edinburgh university academic has previously suggested whitening clouds using specially-built ships.. at a meeting in westminster organised by the arctic methane emergency group (ameg), prof salter told mps that the situation in the arctic was so serious that ships might take too long.. "i don't think there's time to do ships for the arctic now," he said.. "we'd need a bit of land, in clean air and the right distance north... where you can cool water flowing into the arctic.".

For over 40 years governments have had their head up their ass and now it's urgent.

The gal I'm dating frequents match.com - advice?
by UnConfused ini am dating a gal that i met on match.com - we saw each other first last summer, but she didn't think we were a 'match'.
after the "pressure" was off we started hanging out quite a bit with all the benefits that go along with it.
this went on for months.. i became smitten with her, but we weren't a couple, which she pointed out a couple of times.

Jesus and His Disciples...were Apostates! LOL
by RagingBull inthis is just my thought after reading over the "book study" for this week.. the apostles chose to follow christ, all of them were jewish christians.
no matter where paul and silas went, the pharisees stayed harrassing them and would not leave them alone.
spreading vicious rumors and trying to have them stopped.. jws compare themselves to the apostles who were being persecuted for going to the synagogues and drawing away other jews and proselytes.

Wheres the safest place on earth to run to!!!
by Star tiger in.
with all the bad things happening now where would be the safest place to be, for myself and and famiy i would expect that would be somewhere in the far east high above the food plain, people there also have much more repect for human life and do not leave their elders to die alone without any respect and have a much nicer famiy society and seem to be much more organised as to their affairs.. .

G'day Phizz & Bangalore
Wow........ an English to English translator.
Do not post unless you want to agree with me LOL
All comments are appreciated. I enjoy hearing if you have enjoyed the blog, and if you have something regarding my post to discuss then please do share. However, I do have some guidelines:
1. No spam or copy-and-paste rants. If your purpose in posting is to bash the Witnesses or just to promote some link then don't comment.
2. No insults. We are all imperfect but please try to always be civil including with those with whom you disagree.
3. Stick to the topic of the original post. My blog is not a forum. If my post discusses one aspect of a certain subject, then don't use the comments to try to bring up some other aspect of the subject. For example, if a post is about why a certain argument for the Trinity is false, don't comment trying to use some other argument to prove the Trinity. If your comment is not about what my post is about then don't bother.
4. Don't repeat the same thing over and over. If I give an answer to your objection don't ignore it and say it again or bring up some other objection. See also point 3.
Comments that violate these guidelines will generally not pass moderation. Otherwise, your comments are welcome and appreciated. We will happily take you on bloke, soon as you take the prescribed 25ml of cement powder

The Two Trees - My Genesis Ponderings
by cedars ini've just posted a new blog article to jwstruggle.com on the link below:.
http://www.jwstruggle.com/2012/03/the-two-trees-my-genesis-ponderings/.
the purpose behind the article is to explore my own doubts and long-standing confusion over the genesis narrative - particularly the events surrounding adam and eve's expulsion from eden, and the "two trees" (namely the "tree of life" and the "tree of the knowledge of good and bad").. in my article i discuss my confusion over what the exact properties of the "tree of the knowledge of good and bad" may have been, and the fact that evidently by eating of the fruit adam and eve did not become sinful but more godlike.

Who is to say what is right and what is wrong
It is after all up to our owned individual conscience
And if we are to be judged, by this we will be judged.

I think it is simply the differences between Man and Woman.
Adam thought it wasn't good to eat, Eve thought it was.
We all receive our thought processes from the same source.
Eve thought independently from Adam, as it should be and is; even to this day.

Hi Cedars
My personal understanding of this is as follows. We were as animals i.e. without conscience. Knowing the difference between right and wrong is to gain one. Therefore the lie isn't and Jehovah said as much before tossing us out to stop us eating from the tree of life.
Genesis Ch3 v22-24
HE then tested Abraham before commiting to sending His own son so that we may gain eternal life.
I dont trust links so unfortuneately I have not read your blog
